Lee Sang Yup and Kim So Hye are starring in the upcoming drama 'Pure Boxer'.
On October 17, KBS confirmed Lee Sang Yup and Kim So Hye have been cast as the leads of 'Pure Boxer'. Based on the novel of the same name, the drama tells the story of talented boxer Lee Kwon Sook and a calculating agent, who doesn't care about the career of his athletes.
Lee Sang Yup is taking on the role of sports agent Kim Tae Young, who recruits athletes and retires them as soon as possible for his own profit, while Kim So Hye is playing the role of genius boxer Lee Kwon Sook.
'Pure Boxer' is expected to premiere in the first half of 2023.
