With just over two months remaining in 2022, people have already begun preparations for the new year. A new year is always exciting, but what's even more exciting is that it's a new age, and it's even more special because some people will be hitting a new decade in their life! Last week, we were able to check out celebrities turning 30 in 2023, but this time -- we're going to take it one step further and check out stars hitting 40 next year!
This is just a reminder that Korean age works a little differently and that people automatically become one year older once the calendar hits January 1. However, the rule for this "Korean age" is set to be abolished soon due to too much confusion and inconsistency.
So, let's check out some stars who were born in 1984, and you'll find it surprising that some stars will be hitting the big 40 in Korean age!

Examining this list, it looks like most of these stars are actors or OG idol stars. It's hard to believe that these stars are turning 40, but this also means that most of these stars have been in the industry for nearly twenty years... if not more! All we can say is they don't look a day over 30, and their careers are still shining bright like a diamond!
While aging is a bittersweet moment, it's an opportunity for them to show more mature sides of themselves, and we're excited to see what they will present to us in 2023! What are your thoughts on this list? Are you surprised that any of these stars are turning 40? Did we possibly miss one? Make sure to let us know in the comments below!
Oh wow... 😮 I've never looked up Simon Dominic's age before. Reading now that he's nearly 40 is kinda shocking. I always though that he's in his late 20s or very early 30s at best. Damn.
