(G)I-DLE's latest album sold past 600,000 copies in a week, signaling their successful comeback!
According to Hanteo chart data, (G)I-DLE fifth mini-album 'I love' sold around 314,000 units on the first day and had 678,652 copies sold during the first week of its release, setting a new impressive feat for the group.
'I love' has become (G)I-DLE's best-selling album in both first-day and first-week sales. In fact, (G)I-DLE quickly broke their own first-week sales record just on 'I love's first day of release. The girl group's previous album, which is their first full-length album, 'I NEVER DIE,' sold over 176,000 copies in its first week, meaning that 'I love' nearly quadrupled its first-week album sales, proving the group's exploding popularity.
In addition, 'I love' has become the fifth-biggest-selling album by a girl group in Hanteo history, behind the albums of BLACKPINK, aespa, and IVE.
Congratulations to (G)I-DLE! Have you been listening to "Nxde"?
This is going to be a fun week, Nxde has 109 real-time all-kills so far (and still counting), hoping they sweep the awards shows. Especially on M Countdown, where our Miyeon is host and will get to present the award to her sisters again! 🥰
