Kim Taehyung, aka V, recently became the first BTS member to grace the cover of the prestigious magazine 'Vogue Korea,' where he was named the "icon of an era" and an artist who is a 'genre by himself."

Taehyung demonstrated his organic brand power by achieving the highest magazine sales in Ktown4u history within a week of pre-order. He also proved his popularity in the most-populated country in the world by breaking the record for the highest magazine sales for a K-pop idol in China. 

Now that October has arrived, Taehyung's 'Vogue Korea' covers are now being sold in countless physical bookstores across South Korea, including Kyobo Bookstores, the country's largest chain of bookstores.

Fans couldn't be more excited at the massive success of V's first solo magazine cover and shared photos on social media. 

Keeping Taehyung's huge demand and popularity in mind, bookstores advertised his magazine on large banners, posters, and stands to make it more visible for customers to spot.

Korean fans who visited Kyobo bookstores also shared anecdotes of their experiences. On some outlets, his magazine can only be bought in a set of two after the individual covers sold out. Others talked about the crowd his magazines were attracting among local people, proving his popularity outside the fandom. 

Fans also expressed satisfaction at 'Vogue Korea's promotion and treatment of Taehyung, which is at a level he has never received before from his own company.
