Billboard has partnered up with the 'K-Culture Festival' to introduce its first ever 'The-K Billboard Awards 2022', being live streamed via YouTube on October 28 at 8 PM KST.
The event is said to be dedicated to highlighting the dazzling achievements of K-Pop artists on the Billboard charts, and will be live streamed via the 'K-Culture Festival' YouTube channel.
Previously from October 3~8, the Korea Office of International Cultural Exchange and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism joined hands to launch the '2022 K-Culture Festival' in Seoul, a major festival celebrating the spread of various genres of Korean culture and music. After successfully wrapping up the festival in Korea, it looks like the 'K-Culture Festival' is preparing to celebrating Korean culture globally through 'The-K Billboard Awards 2022'.
Stay tuned for more details on the inaugural event, coming soon!
If the artist line up for the prestigious MAMA what Kpop can offer, then I would separate them from the regular award too. Don’t need to mix idols with inflated numbers whose songs a select group of people know with what is popular mainstream.
