LE SSERAFIM was decked out in Yonsei blue during their recent performance at the university!

On September 24 KST, the HYBE rookie girl group performed for the students at Yonsei University as part of their AKARAKA festival, which invited top K-pop acts including NewJeans, IVE, Zico, 10CM, Big Naughty, and WINNER. The event marked LE SSERAFIM's first university festival appearance.

During the group's performance, the members added to the school spirit atmosphere by sporting revamped versions of Yonsei University merchandise, including a university letterman jacket and a few t-shirts brandishing the school's name and logo.

The creative looks became a big hit on social media, with many netizens taking to Korean online message boards to discuss them. In one Instiz post titled "LE SSERAMIN's AKARAKA wardrobe today, which they say the coordi reformed from directly purchasing Yonsei University merch," a poster shared a photo of the group as well as the original versions of the different items the members wore.

"If you look carefully, the clothes have 'Yonsei' written on them in English," the poster wrote. "They say that the coordi bought the university jacket and merch themself and reformed them. So I tried to look for [the original items]."'

The poster revealed at least one Yonsei item that was incorporated into each member's outfit and expressed particular surprise with Eunchae's sweatshirt, which had been decorated with large silver stars. "There are a lot of cases where [an act] comes to AKARAKA wearing blue outfits," the poster commented. "But attending wearing reformed university merch was really clever!"

In response, other Instiz users left a number of comments, including, "This is so unique, meaningful, and pretty" and "This is so pretty that it made me want to watch the performance ㅋㅋㅋㅋ." There were also comments complimenting Yunjin's look as well as Eunchae's new fringe hairstyle, with one user saying, "Eunchae's bangs... She's always been pretty, but now that you can see her sparkling eyes even more, she's become so much cuter I could die  ㅜㅜ."

Meanwhile,  LE SSERAFIM is currently gearing up for their first comeback since debut. Their 2nd mini-album 'ANTIFRAGILE' is set for release on October 17.
