IU successfully held her 2022 solo concert 'The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun' last weekend from September 17 to 18.
The concert was meaningful in so many different ways as IU officially became the first-ever Korean female artist to hold a solo concert at Jamsil Olympic Stadium, one of the biggest performance venues in South Korea. Also, the concert marked IU's first concert after turning 30 years old.
As much as this concert was meaningful in various ways, IU filled the concert with various performances and changed into various beautiful outfits. On September 20, IU personally shared her thoughts on this past concert and shared photos from the events.
She wrote, "The brightest moment of my life" with the hashtag, 'The golden Hour,' and showed photos of her enjoying the concert to the fullest.
IU garnered much attention with different outfits. In particular, she grabbed fans' attention with her Disney princess-like visuals while wearing different dresses. She concluded the post with "I'll be thankful for the rest of my life," expressing her gratitude to her fans.
In response, fans also shared their thanks and commented, "We will remember it for the rest of our life too," "So pretty, you're an angel," "I love you so so much," "I can't believe I was there," and "She's a princess."
Congratulations to IU. It's an achievement that was earned. It's hard enough for female acts to play the Olympic Gymnastics Arena/ KSPO Dome or even the larger Gocheok Sky Dome but the Olympic Stadium for a solo act is insane.
