Donghyuk recently talked to Billboard to dish on his runway debut at New York Fashion Week and his interest in fashion. He also spoke about the support he received from iKON members, particularly their oldest. Kim Jinhwan, who is like a real older brother to him.

Donghyuk made his runway debut at New York Fashion Week, which is a dream come true for him. The glamorous fashion event is the biggest fashion experience for the main dancer, singer, songwriter, and producer, who expressed his interest in fashion, eventually landing him a collaboration with fashion brand UL:KIN with him as a designer. Donghyuk said he learned so much about fashion in general at the event and that he will study fashion more to effectively bring his experience back to Korea.

The iKON member also talked about how he practiced for his grand runway debut. Donghyuk revealed he has a lot of model friends and that he received lots of advice from them, the most notable advice being to just walk in his own style and show the New York runway who he is. He also learned by watching videos of runway shows and practiced walking for two days at home.

Donghyuk also talked about how excited the iKON members are as he is. He received encouragement from his members, particularly Jinhwan, who he treats like a real older brother. He revealed he talks to Jinhwan a lot about things. Jinhwan also did not fail to give him support even when he was away in New York by sending him lots of encouraging messages.

This is not the first time Jinhwan acted like a real older brother to his bandmates. iKON talked about how Jinhwan gave all the members support numerous times and that they are thankful to him. Jinhwan is known to fans as the pillar of iKON, a role he naturally took.
