Former T-ARA member Ahreum shared the sad news that her son was diagnosed with cerebral meningitis.
Ahreum posted on her Instagram on September 16, saying, "Our Jae Ha came to the emergency room after suffering from a high fever for 4 days. He was diagnosed with cerebral meningitis after receiving tests."
Ahreum said, "I had no idea since this disease shows the same symptoms as the common flu. I am writing this to let other parents know and encourage them to take their child to the hospital if they have a cough, a fever over 38 degrees Celcius, vomiting, and lethargy."
In particular, the singer said that the 'meningococcal vaccination' was not included in the national meningitis vaccination ty. Shehe emphasized, "I recommend that you ask the hospital you are attending and get vaccinated right away."
She even expressed her heartbreak as she watched her sick son. Ahreum said, "Yesterday, I cried a lot because I was so sad to see Jae Ha undergoing various tests on that small body while being induced to sleep. The reason I am taking photos and videos is just in case, really just in case. I want to leave behind his last moments just in case.”
She continued, "We still have one more result to come out, but I am waiting for the result that there is no inflammation in his brain. Now that intensive treatment has started, he will have to receive treatment for at least 2 to 4 weeks. We ask everyone to pray so that he can return to a healthy daily life without any aftereffects, find his smile again and become brighter again."
Ahreum added, "I sincerely hope that the parents who are taking care of their sick children will do their best as well."
Meanwhile, Ahreum joined T-ara in 2012 and left the group in 2014 due to health reasons. Later in 2019, she married a non-celebrity businessman the two had a son in June of the following year. She is currently pregnant with her second child.

Wow. The last time AKP wrote an article about her, I commented that next time I see her name I hope it would be because of good news. Now here we are.
The girl can’t catch a break in life, I really hope 1) her sone survives and 2) he is able to live a normal life.
