BLACKPINK JISOO's already impressive resume is now even longer as she just took home an award at the 17th Seoul International Drama Awards for her impeccable performance in the critically acclaimed Korean TV drama Snowdrop.
JISOO beat out great actresses like Lee Seyoung, who had been nominated for her performance in The Red Sleeve Cuff, and Son Yejin, who had been nominated for her role in Thirty-Nine.
Unfortunately, Jisoo was unable to attend the event in person due to her busy schedule for the recent "BORN PINK" album, but she sent a video message to thank everyone and said:
“Hi, I'm JISOO. It's a great honor to receive the award for Outstanding Korean Actress in a Korean Drama.
I'm sorry I can't attend due to my schedule, but I'm happy to get this grand prize. Thanks to everyone who loved the drama and to Young-ro. I will work hard to show you better performances in the future. Thank you!”
YG Entertainment also celebrated JISOO's triumph through a post on Instagram.
This triumph once again proves that JISOO is a great actress as she was able to move and connect with viewers worldwide. Now, fans are looking forward to seeing more K-dramas starring the idol.
Congratulations to JISOO!
