The current buzz in the Korean music scene centers around the whereabouts of BLACKPINK's Jennie and BTS's V.
Previously, on the morning of August 24 KST, BTS's V greeted the press at Incheon International Airport on his way to New York, the United States.
While some fans wondered what schedule V had planned in New York, others quickly pointed out that all four members of BLACKPINK were scheduled to fly to New York on August 25.
Earlier on August 23, dating rumors between BLACKPINK's Jennie and BTS's V resurfaced after an alleged photo of the two was spread online. In light of the resurgence of the dating rumors, many netizens concluded that V and Jennie would be "together" in New York, potentially enjoying dates away from the public eye.
In response, a representative of YG Entertainment curtly stated, "BLACKPINK intend on carrying out a very tightly packed schedule once they leave on August 25, including attending the 'MTV VMAs' as well as various other schedules for their 2nd full album comeback."
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK will be performing at the '2022 MTV VMAs' taking place this weekend on August 28 at 8 PM EST at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
