The final winner of Channel A's survival program 'Youth Star' was announced on August 4.
[SPOILERS AHEAD]
On this day, the finalists representing each team of 'Youth Star' including the 'Idol Team', the 'Singer/Song-writer Team', and the 'Vocal Team' competed in two rounds to determine the final winner of the competition. Additionally, the 7 members of the 'Idol Team' including Park Hyun, Junhyeok, Doha, Hanjun, Huiwon, Sungyun, and Kazuta announced their team name, N.ssign, for the first time.
Ultimately, after two fierce rounds, the 'Idol Team' members earned a total of 3,151 points and were declared as the winners. As the winning prize, N.ssign took home 100 million KRW (~ $77,000 USD) as well as a chance to debut as a group.
Here are the final rankings of the 'Youth Star' contestants: N.ssign (1st), Kim Pu Reum (2nd), Hyun Shin Young (3rd), Kim Tae Hyun (4th), Ryu Ji Hyun (5th), Kim Jong Han (6th), and Baek Hee Yeon (7th).
