On August 29, fans noticed that NCT member Jeno had "accidentally" followed TWICE's Mina on Instagram.
Jeno, who recently created his Instagram account earlier this month, has had "0" people on his "following" list up until now. Then, on August 29, the "following" list turned into "1" briefly for a few hours. Afterward, Jeno "unfollowed" Mina again, turning his "following" list to "0" again.
Seeing the incident, some fans raised suspicions such as, "Jeno must have followed Mina accidentally while checking her Instagram out" or "Maybe he followed her on his public account thinking that it was his private account".
Meanwhile, a similar incident also occurred in the past with another set of K-Pop idols. Fans noticed some time in December of 2021 that BTS's V had "accidentally" followed BLACKPINK's Jennie on Instagram. Some time afterward, the two stars became wrapped up in dating rumors.
