It is common for k-pop idol groups commonly live together, especially during the first few years together. This is mainly because there are too many members for all of them to live separately, and this is also a way for the group to get closer to one another. They often live in what they call "dormitory," and many idol stars have said this is a way for the group to really get close as a family.
In Girls' Generation's showcase for their seventh full-length 15th-anniversary album, Seohyun stated that her favorite memory of the group's fifteen-year regime is the time they spent living together in dormitories.
She also mentioned that the group would not be here today if it wasn't for those times -- it was a way to not only get close but it was also a way to understand each other's differences and compromise through each other's different living styles.
With that being said, there are a few exceptions -- as well as groups that are more experienced and have a bigger focus on solo activities, where they do live on their own. There are some members whom we would love to see on MBC's 'I Live Alone,' -- a variety show where the show portrays a celebrity's daily life living ALONE as Korea's one-member households are increasing.
Let's check out some of these idol members that we would love to see on the show -- we are positive that K-POP global fans will be more than happy!
