Many veteran idols who have debuted have said choosing a good management agency is one of the most important aspects of becoming a successful artist. This is most likely because the management agency will be in charge of promotions and album production, along with helping the artist to promote themselves as best as possible.
Recently, Chung Ha became a hot topic when she recently logged onto V Live and told fans that she wants to leave her agency. She told fans, "I want to quit the agency. Please take me out." According to one fan who shared this news, the V Live video was removed from the site.
The fan shared in an online community, "Not long ago, Chung Ha talked about her current agency on V Live. She said 'I want to quit the company' and 'Please take me out.' But the V Live video was deleted and not uploaded again." The poster explained, "She didn't even post a single 'Sparkling selfie' at the music program and I found out what happened after Chung Ha did a video live for fans."
The fan explained that Chung Ha has been sending her selfies to her company (MNH Entertainment), but the agency was not uploading them, and they told Chung Ha they didn't know why the photos weren't posted. The fans also explained that there were many mistakes that Chung Ha's agency has been making, such as spelling mistakes or uploading the same teaser photos on Instagram and Twitter.
Additionally, the agency did not do proper teaser promotions, so no one knew that Chung Ha had pre-released her songs. Therefore, fans became angered and are hoping Chung Ha changes her agency.
Netizens commented, "I was wondering when Chung Ha was making a comeback and when I searched, she already released her songs," "She's so good at taking care of people but for her to say that means that her company is so bad," "I wish she moves her agency where they do a proper job," "That company is doing this well thanks to Chung Ha," "Hope she finds a better company," and "The staff members who are good at working move from the small agency to larger agency so the small agency stops doing a good job, I've seen this happen so much."
Her album "Rare and Bare" is soo good. I'm not a big fan of 'Sparkling' but the other songs are really good. It's sad that people don't know about her comeback/album. If she wants to leave the company she should. There are plenty of companies that would want to work with her.
