The world of experimental fashion remains a mystery for K-netizens, as many reacted to (G)I-DLE member Soyeon's latest photoshoot for the July issue of 'Y Magazine'.
Taking on the concept of the 'Metaverse', the members of (G)I-DLE pulled off unique fashion styles combining retro trends with more modern flares for their cover feature.
Initially, the group's leader Soyeon became a hop topic on various online communities for joining the "underboob" fashion trend.
However, many netizens quickly felt that the "underboob" look on Soyeon's outfit was child's play compared to the state of her pants.
They commented,
"The pants... WTF."
"What the heck is that even... underpanties?"
"I was looking at her top going 'It's actually not that bad', but then I saw her pants..."
"Those pants are hideous."
"At this point, what is the point of wearing clothes at all."
"So that's why it's called 'Y Magazine'..."
"Pants that defeat the purpose of wearing pants."
"Please don't. That is just atrocious."
"Why would anyone wear that."
"Please don't make our girls wear these ridiculous outfits."
Oh, I agree with one. Definitely warranted criticism. It would have been fine without the pants.
