On July 12, Netflix Korea contents team manager Yoo Ki Hwan held a press conference to discuss new productions coming to the streaming platform. 

On this day, Yoo Ki Hwan announced Netflix Korea's plans to release more variety productions in 2022 and on, as well as plans to target variety tastes garnered more toward domestic audiences. 

The Netflix Korea rep then introduced some of the new variety productions set to air in 2022 or early 2023. First, 'Korea No.1' is a reality-based variety program hosted by Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Kwang Soo, and Kim Yeon Kyung. Each episode, the hosts will visit traditional Korean laborers and learn their trade. 

Next, Netflix Korea is expected to showcase season 2 of the popular dating reality program 'Single's Inferno' soon. Additionally, a sports/activity variety program titled 'Physical: 100' will have 100 male and female contestants compete in various physical activity-based games and competitions to determine the last one standing. 

Lastly, a one-of-a-kind music variety program called 'Take 1' is coming some time in the fall, starring Rain, AKMU, MAMAMOO, Park Jung Hyun, Yoo Hee Yeol, Lim Jae Bum, Jo Soo Mi, etc. The unique program challenges top musicians to put on the "final performance of their lives", in any location, with any number of audiences, and with any songs they prefer. However, each musician will be given only one chance to plan out and complete this performance mission.
