'Master in the House,' which is also known as 'All the Butlers' and 'Jipsabu,' is an SBS variety show that airs weekly, every Sunday, with their current members, Lee Seung Gi, Yang Se Hyung, Kim Dong Hyun, Eun Ji Won, and their recently added maknae, Doyoung. They also have former members, or students as they fondly call them, over the years, such as Yook Sung Jae, Lee Sang Yoon, Shin Sung Rok, Cha Eun Woo, and Yoo Su Bin.

If you're looking for some good laughs and to escape from your hectic life, then look no further than 'Master in the House.' The show aims to learn and gain knowledge with the cast visiting and spending a day or more with masters who are reputable, popular, or figures of various fields and professions who can share their wisdom and experiences. The show started off with the masters spending time with the members in their houses, but the show eventually evolved eventually and developed into a show where learning and entertainment meet. Sometimes, the show also invites one-day disciples who would be the guests to also join in the learning experience alongside the cast members.

The show started on December 31, 2017. It served as the first comeback variety show of Seung Gi after his discharge from the military, as he promised SBS before his enlistment that his comeback variety show would be with them. They originally consisted of Seung Gi, Se Hyung, Sang Yoon, and Sung Jae and were called SangSeungHyungJae together.

On December 29, 2019, it was revealed that Sung Rok would begin appearing in episodes as a fixed cast on January 12, 2020. Original cast members Sang Yoon and Sung Jae left the show on February 11, 2020, during Episode 111. In Episode 114, Dong Hyun joined while Eun Woo joined in Episode 116, now as new members of 'Master in the House.' Eun Woo and Sung Rok left the show on June 20, 2021, with their last appearance as regular cast members during Episode 177. Yoo Su Bin then joined as a fixed cast member on episode 180 and graduated from the show, and left the show after his last appearance during Episode 215. Eun Ji Won joined as a regular cast member after his guesting starting Episode 216, followed by Doyoung, who joined in as a regular cast member after his stellar performance as a guest, with his first episode as a member in Episode 227.

1. Episode 116-117

Master: Production crew of 'Unanswered Questions,' anchors of SBS 8 News, PDs of SBS variety shows

Eun Woo finally joins in as a regular cast member, and the cast members take a look at his amazing application form filled with achievements. They proceeded to meet producers and people behind SBS, from the fearless production crew of 'Unanswered Questions' to the amazing anchors of SBS 8 News, that gave them a chance to deliver the news and act like producers and take their chances to cast a huge star!

2. Episode 118-119

Master: Jin Jong Oh, Lee Dae Hoon, Yang Hak Seon

The cast members of the show meet amazing athletes and take a chance to learn each of their sports. They try to learn more about how to become sharpshooters and compete with each other, learn how to land accurate and hard kicks from the taekwondo master, and learn how to become artistic gymnasts and find the props that suit them best.

3. Episode 122-123

Master: Kim Yeon Kyung

The members meet the former captain of the South Korean National Team in volleyball, Yeon Kyung, who shows her amazing charisma not only as an amazing athlete but also as an entertainer. She lets the members experience her volleyball skills and take part in a volleyball game with them, together with her beloved volleyball teammates, who will reveal some of her secrets.

4. Episode 124-125

Master: Uhm Jung Hwa

The members spend time with the Korean Madonna, Uhm Jung Hwa, who will reveal her amazing dancing and performing skills. They spend time together, bond over her hit songs, and reveal her rules of the Single Playbook. After their bonding in her house, she reveals that she has prepared a Best Friend Festival among them, inviting the best friends of the members and Master Jung Hwa.

5. Episode 128-129

Master: Lee Jung Hyun

Dubbed Korean Lady Gaga and an amazing actress-entertainer, Jung Hyun surprises the members with her trademark unique and shocking performance. They followed her plans, spent time in her place, and treated them with amazing dishes. After their great dinner, they learn that Master Jung Hyun has prepared a final mission for them, requiring them to travel back to 1999 and perform legendary songs of that time. 

6. Episode 130-131

Master: Jang Do Yeon and Park Na Rae

Comedienne best friends Do Yeon and Na Rae are invited as masters to make the members reconsider the intention of the show, now focusing on learning that they can get from their masters. The masters offer completely different lifestyles, and the members are given the freedom to figure out who they would like better. They spend the night at the Na Rae bar as they dance, eat, play games, and have truthful conversations.

7. Episode 146

Master: Lee Seung Gi

As many viewers and even some members have hoped for, they finally get to experience a day with Seung Gi, their master for the episode. They spend time with diligence, from Seung Gi's amazing morning routine, his gym training to keep himself healthy and fit, and how he takes care of himself to become a better person. In the end, they find someone Seung Gi has mentioned he needs to meet for his special project. 

8. Episode 152-153

Master: Ryu Hyun Jin

Professional baseball player Hyun Jin visited 'Master in the House' to test the baseball skills of the cast members and equip them with the skills required to succeed in the sport! They also ate dinner together and became closer over ramen and pork belly and played a tissue game with high stakes and punishment. After their bonding, the members form a baseball team together with Hyun Jin and go against the master's close friends, who are also great baseball players. 

9. Episode 154-155

Master: Choi Jung Won, Kim So Hyun, Cha Ji Yeon

The members get to meet the three queens of musicals in Korea, who all established themselves as legendary musical actresses. The three masters each give their lessons and select specific members they want to perform with. In a limited amount of time, they must prepare a special mini-musical performance. The members enjoy performing and their performances, particularly watching Sung Rok in his main stage, who is a musical actor himself. 

10. Episode 156

Master: Im Tae Hyuk, Park Jung Woo, Noh Beom Soo, Heo Seon Haeng

The members meet the most famous and the so-called F4 of the traditional Korean wrestlers due to their incredible physique partnered with unrivaled skill in ssireum. The members under hard physical training to train their bodies, and they eventually get lessons from the ssireum players themselves to reveal their secret weapon during games.

11. Episode 159-160

Master: Eugene

The first-generation fairy and an amazing actress with various titles around her belt, Eugene, visits the cast members who are huge fans of her. Everyone is also under the Penthouse craze, a drama where she stars, so they get shocked when they were eventually joined in by two more guests who are also part of the phenomenal drama. They also get to meet her wonderful children and see her not only as a great celebrity but as a loving

12. Episode 162-165

Master: Tak Jae Hoon and Lee Sang Min

The members introduce themselves as the most eccentric set of masters, who are self-confessed masters of failures and believe that failures are needed in order for people to learn and become better. They also introduce the Fail Festival, which will find celebrities and stars who have experienced various failures in their lives. They experience a lot, from a hidden camera during their meeting with Rain to holding auditions for the next fail stars. The best Fail Star of the festival will be chosen as the Fail King and receive a grand prize.

13. Episode 166-167

Master: Lee Gyeong Gyu

The members reach the mountains to meet the grandfather of variety shows, a seasoned entertainer who will teach them the know-how of experts in entertainment shows. They learn the ways of Master Lee and his variety of show skills by encountering strange situations and practicing their reactions. They spend it learning through various segments and emphasize trying to find your own character by comparing them to the breed of dogs. They end their time by facing the morning mission given to them by the master.

14. Episode 168-169

Master: Kim Jong Kook

They meet the singer multi-entertainer, Kim Jong Kook, who helped them experience his beloved city of Los Angeles in South Korea. They spend their time together and shared his tips on how to maintain a strong mentality and physique and let them hear his beautiful voice. During the next day, the members try their best to beat Jong Kook with enormous strength and experience the tasty muscle restaurant firsthand.

15. Episode 170

Master: Gyeongbokgung

They meet their first nonhuman master, which is the Gyeongbok Palace, filled in with heritage and rich history that will let them learn a lot. They meet a guide who will help them navigate around the mysteries of the palace, who will mysteriously disappear along the way. The members try to learn the reason why he is missing and experience firsthand the magnificence of the palace. 

16. Episode 174-175

Master: Lucky, Alberto Mondi, Tyler Rasch, Robin Deiana, Ma Guozhen, Blair Williams, Yuji Hosaka, Chang Mya Mya Thaw

The cast members experience learning through experience during a special episode focusing on a debate session on the current events not only in Korea but worldwide. They learn more about the effects of the global pandemic and provide an avenue to learn about the issues that will help everyone become socially aware and establish a conversation with people who experienced them firsthand. 

17. Episode 176-177

Master: Lee Jang Hee

The members head out to Ulleung Island to meet their master, who lives on the beautiful island and is very cool and amazing. Through the master, the members take some time to reflect back on themselves and wonder what they truly love in this world while enjoying the beautiful scenery.  The members prepare a special time to congratulate Master Lee's 50-year anniversary. As it's Sung Rok and Eun Woo's last trip on the show, the members make sure to strengthen their relationships with one another.

18. Episode 185-186

Master: Kim Eun Hee

They meet Korea's prolific and one of the most famous screenwriters, Kim Eun Hee, as their master. They learn through her diligent research and investigation that makes the detailed scripts possible. Master Kim invites a medical examiner who is close to her and has helped her a lot with her writing. They also put their learning through the challenge of making a new plot in the usual children's stories. 

19. Episode 190-181

Master: Oh Eun Young

The members face another master, Oh Eun Young, who is an infamous psychiatrist who will help the members to check through their exhausted hearts from the current pandemic. The members also open up a special session with Dr. Oh for those who struggle in relationships with others, as well as share their concerns and feelings.

20. Episode 194-195

Master: 'Street Women Fighter' Dancers and Choreographers

They face the hottest women of the year, the dancers of 'Street Women Fighter', who are all talented in their field. The masters introduce themselves through a fierce dance kick-off, and they reveal how they decided to be on 'Street Woman Fighter' and many hidden backstories. The members also face off as their dance skills are evaluated, with the dance crews choosing who they want to collaborate with for the dance performance battle. 

21. Episode 205

Master: Kim Young Chul, Tyler Rasch

As the New Year has arrived, the members begin with a special new project called Overcoming Short-lived Resolutions. For the first part of this project, the members meet Kim Young Chul, an entertainer who has studied and mastered English on his own. The members get useful tips on how to become better English speakers and overcome their fear of English, alongside a guest who has lived overseas with great English speaking skills.

22. Episodes 209 and 211

Master: Kwon Il Yong, Park Ji Sun, Lee Dong Won, Do Joon Woo

The members meet the minds and the people behind the legendary show of SBS, which is 'Unanswered Questions,' to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Producers Do Joon Woo and Lee Dong Won appear on the show along with Kwon II Yong and Park Ji Seon, two experts in criminal analysis. They listen to their experiences, the hidden and behind the scene stories of the informational show, and experience reading an admission of guilt firsthand. 

23. Episode 212

Master: Bae Jong Ok

Through the great actress, Master Bae Jong Ok, they learn more about taking care of their bodies and themselves, as she seems to age and she keeps her body and soul young. She reveals her secret of how to maintain and protect her body and soul in a healthy way. The members learn about specific body types, skincare routines, and meditation.

24. Episode 213-215

Master: Jeong Jae Seung

The members get to learn more about themselves through a seasoned professor, physicist, and researcher, Jeong Jae Seung, who brought them to his house and gave them a tour not only to his abode but also to their MRI scans. He explains various phenomena, from how we make choices, why we act this way, and how our brain is related to love. They also say goodbye to Su Bin who graduates from the show.

25. Episode 216

Master: Kim Eung Soo

They welcome their newest member, Eun Ji Won, who claims he hates learning but is actively participating in the show. As he was warmly welcomed by the members, they also welcome their master, who loves spring the most among the rest of the seasons. They enjoy the spring day with him as he shares his knowledge and introduces them to tasty spring vegetables.

26. Episode 219-220

Master: Choo Sung Hoon

Master Choo Sung Hoon returns again to the show to become a master once again to share his almost unbelievable and miraculous win against an opponent much younger than him that was made possible through his unending efforts. They also learn more skills in martial arts that they can use later on during a battle against themselves and the master. They also hear more regarding the experience of various fighters in the UFC.

27. Episode 222

Master: Kim Joo Won

They meet up with the prima ballerina with many years of experience in the field, who shares her experience as a ballerina and teaches them the skills, from the basic steps down to the harder ones. The members try their best to audition to become the favored student of the prima ballerina by performing their own ballet routine with a chance to participate in her work.

28. Episode 223-224

Master: Kim Young Ha

They go to the beautiful seas of Busan to meet with the prolific and best-selling writer, Kim Young Ha. He shares how one could be a great writer according to the situation, with the members trying it out by writing a text message to confess their love. They also went aboard the yacht to continue talking about writing while trying to create an impromptu plot together. They also talked about which chapter of their lives they are currently writing.

29. Episode 225-226

Master: Jo Su Mi

The members meet the most accomplished coloratura soprano not only in Korea but also in the world, Jo Su Mi. The master reveals the backstory of how she has reached the success she currently has, from her hardships and how she overcame them and showcased her friendly charm to the members as they continue to interact. In the end, their ability to reach notes is evaluated strictly by her, and chooses her partner among them to perform her song "Champions."

30. Episode 227-228

Master: Blue House

Their second nonhuman master, the 'Master in the House' show, becomes the very first show to publicly display the Blue House as it opens to the public after 74 years. The episode also marks Doyoung's very first episode as an official member, who has been continuously showing his charms during his guesting. Historian Shim Yong Hwan appears to guide the members through Cheong Wa Dae and gives detailed explanations about the place while the former presidential photographers talk about former presidents.
