On July 1st, several netizens created posts on an online community forum about fromis_9's Jiheon and her particularly long stare at ENHYPEN's Sunghoon on 'Music Bank'. Some even raised rumors that the two idol members were in fact dating based on their interaction.
As the rumors spread, Jiheon personally dismissed her rumors on Weverse on July 3rd, saying she was only looking at her fans. She wrote, "Saerom unnie and Nagyung unnie were so funny during the interview lol", "Yeah I only looked at Flover haha Let's only look at each other <3<3"

I feel so sad for Jiheon, Sunghoon, and really all idols that such an innocuous situation would draw so much attention and have to be explained. Shame on the insane "fans" who think they have the right to control every aspect of idols' lives, including who they literally just look at. You're wrong and I hope one day you realize that you're one of the biggest things your bias hates about their job and their life.
