aespa broke a number of records with the release of their latest album, 'Girls'!
According to the Hanteo chart, 'Girls' wrapped up its first-day sales with 806,891 copies sold, setting a new record for the group's highest-selling first-day and first-week sales.
With this, 'Girls' has officially become not only the group's best-selling first-day sales but also the best-selling album among all K-Pop girl groups, breaking the record previously set by BLACKPINK's 'THE ALBUM', which had 589,310 album sales on the first day of its release.
'Girls' not only broke the record for the highest first-day sales by a girl group in Hanteo history, but also for first-week sales; the record was previously held by 'THE ALBUM,' which sold 689,066 copies in its entire first week. That is, on the first day of its release, 'Girls' already broke the record for the highest first-week album sales by any girl group.
Overall, 'Girls' is now the 10th best-selling album in first-day sales of all-time on Hanteo, just behind the albums of BTS, Seventeen, Lim Young Woong, and TXT.
Congratulations to aespa on their achievements!
