The list started out strong but I think they lost the plot after the first 10 lol.
"Feel My Rhythm" doesn't have the same summer vibe as songs like ATEEZ's "Wave". And why the heck are "aenergy" by aespa, "Bboom Bboom" by Momoland, and "Dessert" by Hyo on this list? Summer vibes where??
There is a difference between "feel good"/"I just wanna get up and dance" and "summer-y good times". A lot of time, it's the instrumentation that gives off the cool, relaxing vibe of summer. I would use the example of "Let's!" by the kpop group Hoppipolla. That is the perfect summer song. Just listen to that instrumental! 😍 NCT Dream's "We Young" also has a great summer vibe instrumental and should be on this list.
Some songs are summery because they invoke a summer dance party theme, kinda like Miley Cyrus' "Party in the U.S.A." The song "We Do" by SuperM is a good example of a kpop song that is great for the "it's summer, so we do what we want" vibe!
This is a questionable list lol. Some songs work well, and others don't. But hey, it's based on one person's bias, so to each their own, but shouldn't we have the same definition of what a "summer vibe" kpop song is?
