On June 9, TV personality Sam Hammington made a guest appearance on the SBS powerFM radio program, 'Kim Young Chul's Power FM'.
On this day, Sam Hammington revealed what it was like for his family to be featured in their very own animated superhero film, 'Wilbengers: Suspicious Camping Commotion'. The children's film, premiering in theaters across Korea on June 23, stars 3D animated versions of the Wilbengers - William and Bentley Hammington - as well as their dad, Sam.
According to Sam, "I thought it wouldn't be so bad to give it a try. But the children lacked the acting skills to voice their own characters, and I was the only one who voiced myself. Professional voice actors played the roles of William and Bentley. The voice acting was difficult. It was hard to match the lip formations and also make all kinds of sound effects."
At the end of the radio, Sam Hammington chose a song by BTS for the next tune, revealing that William and Bentley are big fans. "Both of my kids love RM of BTS. But recently, we had Bang Chan of Stray Kids come visit us, and I guess they had a really good time with him, because they've switched over(?) from BTS to Stray Kids," the star jokingly stated.
Sam continued, "I learned that Bang Chan is also from Australia, and another member of his group, Felix, is as well. So the kids are learning all of the lyrics to Stray Kids songs these days."
Hearing this, DJ Kim Young Chul commented, "The kids must feel a sense of familiarity with their fellow Australians."
Aww, that's too cute. Of course they would feel a kinship to the Aussie members lol. I would think that Stray Kids' music would be a bit too "strong" for their age, but I don't know the full discography of the group, so maybe there are some songs that the two boys can really jive to!
