Netizens are talking about how Seventeen has proved the group's massive popularity in Japan after seeing their fan meeting event.
On May 7th, the first day of Seventeen's fan meeting event "Hanabi" took place at Japan's Saitama Super Arena. The arena has around 30,000 capacity which is an unusually huge amount of audience for a fan meeting event, however, Seventeen sold all 60k seats for their two-day long event.
After pictures of the excited crowd waiting to enter the arena circulated online, netizens shared their thoughts. Some of the comments are: "I'm so incredibly jealous of those fans."
"The ticketing was no joke. I couldn't get in for today's event."
"Can Japan please accept travel visas when they are going on a dome tour?"
"I didn't know they were this popular wow."
"I just saw them on MMTG and didn't realize they were huge until now."
"I heard they were popular in Japan but looking at these pictures really proves the sayings."
Meanwhile, Seventeen will be releasing their 4th full-length album 'Face the Sun' on May 27 at midnight EST.
