Gucci names IU as its global brand ambassador

IU has officially joined Gucci's global ambassador family. 

On May 29th, Gucci updated its official Instagram account with IU's picture at the 75th Cannes Film Festival. Previously, IU has been promoting the luxury brand as Gucci Korea's ambassador since 2020. Gucci's representative commented, however, "We can't disclose when exactly IU became our global brand ambassador due to competition with another brand." 

Meanwhile, following EXO's Kai, Lee Jung Jae, and Shin Min Ah, IU became the 4th Korean celebrity to join Gucci's global ambassador family.
