Actress Kim Sae Ron (21)'s agency Gold Medalist has released an official statement on behalf of the star, approximately a day after news of her DUI charges made headlines. 

Gold Medalist relayed on May 19,

"Hello, this is Gold Medalist.

First and foremost, we would like to apologize for the late response, as it took some time to confirm the full details of the incident.

On behalf of our agency artist, we would like to sincerely apologize for causing concerns with the recent news of Kim Sae Ron's DUI accident.

Kim Sae Ron is currently deeply reflecting on her actions. She would also like to beg the forgiveness of many of those who suffered damages and discomfort due to her actions, as well as from those who put in effort to restore the damaged public utilities. She promises to do all she can to aid in the restoration of all damages. 

Meanwhile, Kim Sae Ron was sent home after completing her blood test yesterday (May 18), and plans on participating in the police investigation diligently once the test results become available. 

The agency also feels greatly responsible for this recent accident. We would like to once again apologize to all who were affected by the events. We promise to actively engage with the public and put in our best efforts to resolve problems in a timely manner. We will also do our best in caring for our artists so that such events do not happen again.

Once again, we sincerely apologize for causing concerns." 

Additionally, according to various media outlet reports on this day, Kim Sae Ron has decided to leave the cast of the SBS drama 'Trolley', for which she was cast earlier this year.
