YOUNITE's Kyungmun to temporarily wear partial arm cast after sustaining injury at 'Inkigayo'

A member of Brand New Music's new boy group YOUNITE is being treated for an arm injury.

On April 24 KST, Brand New Music took to YOUNITE's official fan cafe to announce that member Kyungmun had recently sustained an injury. According to the announcement, Kyungmun was performing with the group on SBS's 'Inkigayo' earlier that day when he began feeling pain in his right elbow. He was later moved to a medical facility.

While the agency did not disclose any specific diagnosis, they mentioned that once he received an examination, he was then advised to wear a partial arm cast to prevent further injury to the area. 

Brand New Music has assured that Kyungmun will be able to continue promotions alongside YOUNITE as scheduled. However, if a change of schedule ends up being needed, they will make sure to notify the fans.

The agency concluded the statement by asking for fans' understanding and assuring them that they will do their best to ensure Kyungmun's speedy recovery.
