HYBE Corporations has officially addressed their stance regarding BTS's military service duties.
According to YTN, HYBE Corporations has expressed their wishes for the Korean National Assembly to make their decisions regarding BTS's mandatory military obligations. Lee Jin Hyung, the Director of Communications at HYBE, asserted that the "recent transformations in the military service act over the years have made it difficult to conjecture any future changes."
Meanwhile, Lee added that "it is true how the artists [BTS] are also finding this difficult, because it makes it tough to individually plan their own future."
With these remarks, HYBE Corporations stated that this lack of clarity has made the BTS members suffer from the issue and strongly urged the National Assembly to arrive at a stark decision soon.
It seems like they are really waiting for some possibility of exemption, if they really want to enlist, they should just enlist voluntary like other idols before 30 years.
