According to Kim Woojin (formerly of the group Stray Kids)'s agency 10x Entertainment, Woojin has been cast to play a lead role in HBO Max's new original series, titled 'Além do Guarda-Roupa' (translated to 'Beyond the Wardrobe').
Woojin will be the very first Korean to play a lead role in an HBO Max series. The singer will play the character of Kyungmin, a member of a K-Pop boy group, ACT. He will star alongside Brazilian actress Sharon Blanche.
Woojin's agency stated that he is already in Brazil to film the series and will return home around June.
Meanwhile, 'Além do Guarda-Roupa' is set to take place in Sāo Paulo, Brazil, and is a drama that tells the story of a teenage girl who finds a portal and meets a K-Pop idol through the portal. The series is scheduled for release next year.
