A rapper from an Mnet hip-hop audition program is being investigated by the investigative agency after testing positive for drugs.
According to SBS, on April 1st, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul is investigating a man in his 30s on charges of violating the drug management law. A is a male rapper in his 30s who appeared on a cable channel hip-hop audition program.
The police received a report from a woman in front of a convenience store in Mapo-gu around 2:10 AM on January 28th, saying, "I inhaled a powder presumed to be cannabis with rapper A at a nearby hotel." At that time, when Mr. A refused to accompany the police voluntarily for a simple examination, the police checked only his personal information and took measures to return home. The woman tested negative for drugs.
Rapper A then tested positive through a complete drug test given by the National Forensic Service. A police official explained, "We plan to call Mr. A soon to investigate."
But she tested negative? And cannabis powder? Doesn't make much sense to me.
