DONGKIZ (DKZ) is slowly gaining recognition and popularity for the first time in 4 years. Thanks to the drama 'Semantic Error,' DKZ has been gaining the interest of various fans from across the globe leading to album sales to increase.

According to one online community, DKZ's first-day pre-sales for their 6th single 'Chase Episode 2. MAUM' is 10x higher than their previous album's first-week sales. When the group released the album 'CHASE EPISODE 1. GGUM' in July 2021, the boy group sold a total of 1,244 album copies in the first week of release.

The post explained, "According to the Hanteo Chart sales data, the group sold 482 copies on the first day, 421 copies on the second day, 1 copy on the third day, 3 copies on the fourth day, 259 copies on the fifth day, 32 copies on the sixth day, and 46 copies on the seventh day. So, they sold a total of 1,244 copies of 'CHASE EPISODE 1. GGUM' in the first week."

However, DKZ sold a total of 17,100 copies on the first day of pre-sales for 'Chase Episode 2. MAUM' on March 29. The album will begin official sales on April 12 at 6 PM KST and is expected to sell a lot more.
