DONGKIZ have announced their brand new group name and changes to their member lineup.
On March 18, Dongyo Entertainment revealed DONGKIZ will be undergoing a number of changes, including a group name change to DKZ. Wondae will also be leaving the group, which will have a new lineup with 3 new members.
The label said, "Wondae took a break after an injury and had an in-depth discussion with us about his future activities. However, it's of the doctor's opinion that he'll need constant rehabilitation in the future. Wondae ultimately decided to withdraw from the team." Munik, who was on hiatus due to health issues, is not yet returning to the group as he's continuing to treat his condition.
As for the group as a whole, DONGKIZ will officially be known as DKZ starting with their comeback in April of 2022. In addition to the group's current members Kyoungyoon, Jaechan, and Jonghyeong, Dongyo Entertainment plans on recruiting three new members to the team.
The news comes following Jaechan's appearance in 'Semantic Error'. Check out the new DKZ logo, below!
The members they mentioned that are being "added" are already in the group though? Do they mean there will be new members in addition to those three?
