BTS's kind actions have moved their fans to do the same as the group continues to stretch their positive influence globally.
On March 3, it was announced that the tickets (approximately 300,000 tickets) for all four days of BTS's concert 'Permission to Dance on Stage - Las Vegas' were sold out immediately during the BTS Global Official Fanclub Army Membership Presale.
Getting tickets for the Seoul concert was challenging as well, but Korean fans still had hopes as they had another chance to see the group in the Las Vegas concert. However, as soon as the tickets went on sale, all four days sold out, leaving many fans without a ticket. These fans decided to put the money they had saved for the concert to better use.
Many of these fans decided to donate the ticket money to various charity organizations and Ukraine. One fan wrote, "Hoseok, I failed to get a ticket. But I'm happy you will get to see other ARMYs. Let's meet ten years later. It's so hard (to get a ticket). My heart hurts :( I donated the money for the ticket. I donated to the Ukrainian Embassy...PEACE."
Another fan wrote, "Although I failed to get a ticket, I have extra money thanks to that. So I donated the ticket money to the children in Ukraine. I was planning to use this money for happiness so I think it's only right that it's put to good use."
Another ARMY wrote, "I failed to get a ticket during the 'Speak Yourself' concert too and donated the money to UNICEF. This time around, I once again failed to get tickets. I thought of that time before so I donated the ticket money so that I won't feel bad. I will think about my next chance and will support you guys from afar. I will see you guys being awesome on stage. I purple you."
Netizens were impressed by the warm gesture of the ARMY fans who were not able to get tickets and commented, "BTS ARMYs we purple you," "They're so kind," "That's nice that they donated the money for the ticket," "BTS fans also do a lot of good and kind actions just like the group," "These fans are really nice," "ARMYs are so awesome," "Awesome group, awesome fans," "This is amazing. I also know how it feels to not be able to get tickets but I would not be able to donate money like that," "Oh wow, they're really kind people," and "I donated to Ukraine too... last time, I donated to Daegu when I couldn't get tickets to 'Map of the Soul' concert."
There were many more ARMYs who donated their ticket money to Ukraine to aid them in any way possible.
It's nice to know the money is going towards a good cause.
