Netizens are wondering if there is a rivalry or a feud between two IVE members.

On YouTube and online community forums, a topic of rivalry surfaced between two members of IVE: Wonyoung and Yujin. As two former members of IZ*ONE, the two have recently become permanent members of a new group with Yujin as the leader.

According to netizen posts, Wonyoung's recent comment made in a video from their official YouTube channel brought some questions to the fore. She said, "At first, I thought, '(Yujin) unnie is the leader?'" and it was interpreted by other YouTube channels that Wonyoung did not regard Yujin as someone with leadership potential. 

With additional footage of Wonyoung allegedly "glaring" at Yujin in the past, the uploader compiled brief moments of the two members sharing dicey moments as interpreted by the creators. Especially since Wonyoung had taken the center position during their IZ*ONE days, a potential shift in the dynamics between them since IVE's debut seems to have created some room for controversial readings.

However, fans of IVE defended the two and clamped down on the accusations, explaining that Wonyoung has always "taken good care of Yujin" as a dongsaeng. The only reason why Wonyoung made that comment was because they were both part of the 'maknae line' in IZ*ONE and that anyone would find it odd to see a fellow young member suddenly become a leader.

Other fans also shared screenshots of their Bubble conversations with fans, how Wonyoung expressed her disbelief towards Yujin officially becoming an adult. Regarding this fact, Yujin had also shared: "Wonyoung kept saying how she couldn't believe I was turning twenty. She said it felt like a hidden camera prank. But don't unnies usually say that [to their dongsaengs]? She keeps thinking that I am a babyㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ".
