BLACKPINK are continuing to reach new heights on YouTube!
On February 1 at approximately 5:00 p.m. KST, the girl group's music video for their second mini-album 'Square Up's title track "DDU-DU DDU-DU" has finally surpassed over 1.8 billion views on YouTube, marking the group's first-ever music video to hit the mark. BLACKPINK accomplished the feat in 3 years and 7 months after its official release on June 15, 2018.
"DDU-DU DDU-DU" remains as the most-viewed music video by any K-Pop group and the second most-viewed by a Korean act following PSY's "Gangnam Style".
Congratulations, BLACKPINK!
Will say this and be hated but it's honest.
Without new MVs the old ones will keep going up faster because there's nothing new to watch.
So fans have to return again and again more than if there was fresh content to watch instead.
