The YouTube channel 'Sojang' recently shared a post claiming that a male idol is being clingy to a fan and that the fan rejected him.

The YouTube channel began by stating there are many instances in which fans get clingy to their idols, and it's usually the idols who reject fans. However, there is one male idol who was caught showing special affection and being clingy to a fan. The male idol of the issue was claimed to be DRIPPIN's Minseo.

The story was unsurfaced when the fan in question exposed Minseo's affectionate actions on a social media outlet and shared some of the Kakao talk conversations with the idol. According to the video, it was obvious DRIPPIN's Minseo had feelings for the fan as she was given preferential treatment compared to the other fans. Minseo would stand in front of her camera, allowing her to take closer photos of him, allowing her to choose his outfits, and also opened up to her about the inner turmoils he had felt after debuting. He even wrote her handwritten letters expressing his affection towards his fan.

The fan then posted further conversations in which Minseo reached out to her, apologizing and clarifying that he had not been entertaining and talking to other fans after reading a post that this fan had made. It is presumed that the fan Minseo had been giving special treatment to had created a post about how she thought he was entertaining other fans, and Minseo reached out to her to clarify the misunderstanding. In the message he sent, he explained, "I am sending you a Katalk after seeing the post. I have not talked with other fans since February 20, Saturday at 8:21 PM. Someone messaged me on 2021, March 19, so I only asked 'who are you?' and that's it. I want to see what happened. Please read this message."

However, that fan came back to him with, "I'm taken aback, I don't need to know you you're talking with, and I'm not curious either. I think you got the wrong idea..." The fan cut him off and put him down, saying he had misinterpreted their relationship wrong and thought it was more than what it was.

However, the netizens who saw the video are thinking otherwise. In fact, they are shielding Minseo, saying he seems to be a nice person and that the fan should not have exposed him on social media outwardly in this manner. Nevertheless, some netizens took issue with this and commented on various things.

Netizens commented, "The times must have changed, I remember when you couldn't directly talk to the idols in my days," "I guess these kinds of things really happen," "Is there no line anymore? these idols are just contacting their fans directly like this?" and "This is ridiculous, idols really should not contact their fans like that."
