TWICE have racked up another record in Japan.
On January 27 KST, the Recording Association Industry of Japan (RIAJ) certified the songs which surpassed streaming milestones for the month of December 2021, and five songs by TWICE have been certified: "I Can't Stop Me" has officially exceeded over 100 million streams and is now certified Platinum; "The Feels" is certified Gold for surpassing 50 million streams; and ''I Want You Back", "Better" and "Perfect World" have all been certified Silver for amassing 30 million streams in Japan.
With this, TWICE have now accumulated a whopping 1 billion certified streams with 24 songs by the RIAJ, becoming the second foreign artists to hit the milestone alongside BTS; they are the first-ever foreign female act to do so.
Congratulations, TWICE!
Where are the people who were “wondering where Twice went wrong” and giving backhanded compliments on other Twice news earlier this week? I just wanna talk.
