Gugudan's Nayoung will be continuing in the entertainment industry as an actress.
On January 3 KST, acting agency Goodman Story Entertainment announced that she has signed an exclusive contract with them.
"We are happy to be joined with actress Kim Nayoung, who shows various talents and forms in various fields such as acting, vocals, and dancing. We will give her generous support so that we can show the charm of actress Kim Nayoung in various works, not limited to stage or medium," the agency commented. "We ask for a lot of interest and anticipation for the new side of Kim Nayoung as an actress."
Goodman Story Entertainment is also home to a number of actors, including, most famously, Jo Seung Woo of films like 'Tazza' and 'The Classic.'
Meanwhile, Nayoung was first introduced to the public through her appearance as a contestant on Mnet's first season of 'Produce 101' back in 2016. She ended the program in 14th place and later debuted through Gugudan. Apart from her activities with the group, she also acted in the musical 'Mephisto' and the play 'Why Did You Come To My House.'

That's actually kinda sad, she's an amazing vocalist. even though I loved gugudan Jellyfish really fucked up when they had the idea to debut a bunch of unknkwon girls surrounded by mina and sejong, gugudan shoul've been SeMiNa from the start. But I really hope Nayoung can achieve everything she desires for her future.
