G-Dragon dominates China's biggest search engine year-end ranking despite not having a comeback since 2016

G-Dragon has proved his presence in China again.

The year-end search results for Baidu, China's biggest search engine with 580 million monthly active users, for 2021 were released.

Despite not having a comeback and not being active, Big Bang's G-Dragon ranked 1st on Baidu as the most searched K-pop male idol in 2021.

EXO members Baekhyun, Sehun, and Chanyeol, followed G-Dragon in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place respectively. BTS member Taehyung came in 5th place.

Well he's the king of K-pop, so it's no surprise. It doesn't really matter how inactive he is or what happens, he always stays on top, unlike others. It's the difference between actual impact vs. a bunch of obsessive fangirls trying to make someone look relevant
