Actress Shin Hyun Bin has tested positive for COVID-19.

On December 14, Shin Hyun Bin's label Yooborn Company announced the actress was diagnosed with COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated back in September. The label stated, "On December 14, Yooborn Company actress Shin Hyun Bin tested positive for COVID-19. She already completed her vaccination and received her second dose in September. She participated in her scheduled activities while regularly testing for the virus."

Yooborn continued, "However, on December 13, she was notified she was in close contact with a COVID-19 patient, and she immediately underwent PCR testing. After being classified as someone who should be monitored closely, she took another test. She then received a positive result on December 14."

Though she's not experiencing any health issues, her scheduled activities have been canceled.
