U-Kwon announced that he was dating model Jeon Sunhye back in 2012 when he was still a rookie. The two have been together for the past ten years, and in 2019, shortly before his enlistment, he appeared on MBC Every1's Video Star to share his thoughts on marrying Jeon Sunhye after he is discharged from the military.
