Netflix Korea's original series 'Squid Game' topped the streaming chart rankings in all 83 countries including India. 

According to FlixPatrol, 'Squid Game' took home first place for the top movies and tv shows on Netflix in 81 countries on October 1st. It was its first time ranked first place in India, making it taking first place in all 83 countries the show is currently being serviced. On October 1st, the show stepped down from its first to second place in Denmark and Turkey.  

Previously, 'Squid Game' has topped the charts in 82 countries except for India as Indian comedy-drama 'Kota Factory' has been ranked first place. But on October 1st, the show set the record as it topped the chart in India as well. 

Meanwhile, 'Squid Game' depicts the story of individuals who are in a severe financial struggle being invited to a mysterious game. They are brought to a secret place where they play childhood games to win a large lump sum of money at a very high cost if they lose.
