Another Netflix original series from Korea is showing signs of success following 'Squid Game,' which was released in September.
According to Flix Patrol, on October 18, 'My Name' ranked in 6th place in the global TV show category was as high as 4th place after its release on the 15th. 'My Name' depicts a story of a girl who is willing to do anything to revenge her father's death.
The drama ranked first in Korea, followed by second in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, and received positive responses from Asia. It also ranked third in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia and Qatar and Africa and Latin America.
In Europe, 'My Name' ranked in the top 10 and ranked sixth in the U.S., where K-dramas are gaining much traction.
The stock price of Studio Santa Claus, which is the production company behind 'Squid Game,' is also increasing as their follow-up drama 'My Name' is gaining much popularity.
To be honest the story line is kinda ordinary but the acting skill from the actress and actors makes this series special
