Lee Hyori has officially been announced as the host of the '2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards'!
This year, the '2021 MAMA' will take place on December 11 starting at 6 PM KST with the brand new theme, 'Make Some Noise'. Lee Hyori has been selected as the first ever female solo host in 'MAMA' history, a prestigious position previously held by stars like Song Joong Ki, Lee Seung Gi, Lee Byung Hun, Park Bo Gum, and more.
Additionally, the '2021 MAMA' will be introducing global music platform scores collected through Apple Music into the existing judging criteria, in order to reflect K-Pop's global influence and power. In past years, judging criteria included Gaon chart data, Twitter data, YouTube data, etc.
