K-Pop fans are demanding a proper apology from popular American singer Oliver Tree for using late Jonghyun's funeral picture to promote his tour in the past.

Recently, many K-Pop fans were shocked to discover late Jonghyun's funeral picture was used by the popular American singer Oliver Tree who sang the hit song 'Life Goes On.' Back in 2019, Oliver Tree posted a photoshopped picture of himself on his official YouTube community tab promoting his 'Goodbye Farewell Tour'. 

Back then, he deleted the said post after getting a major backlash from K-Pop fans, however, it was reported his proper apology has not been issued.

Fans have gathered to an online community to further express their anger and how upset they are about the issue on October 11th KST. 

Some of the comments are: "This came from a singer of the popular song on TikTok. I'm so upset just by reading this."

"It seems he wants to gain traction from K-Pop fans."

"Who tf laughs off using someone else's funeral picture? Is he out of his mind? It's not a stock picture."

"Why is he using someone's trauma to entertain his fans? I don't want this to be a meme. I hope he could just leave Jonghyun alone."

"Us getting upset is not 'extreme fans overreacting'. This is a legitimate reaction of anyone with some common sense." 

"Ha, it seems he deleted all his tweets regarding this incident."

"K-Pop fan or not, regardless of his nationality, how could a human being be this inconsiderate?"

"Every single time when something like this happens, they say they didn't mean it and we're overreacting. I'm sick and tired of people using someone else's trauma for their clout."
