Do you remember when BTS released the mobile game 'BTS World' with Netmarble?
Right alongside the game's launch back in 2019, BTS also released an OST album dedicated to the mobile game, 'BTS World: Original Soundtrack'.
Well, 2 years later, netizens are still wondering... what was that all about?
More specifically, "Why did BTS make so many great songs just for a game OST album, and not put them in an official album??"
The full 'BTS World: Original Soundtrack' album contains a total of 14 songs, including four main singles - "Heartbeat", "Dream Glow" feat. Charli XCX, "A Brand New Day" feat. Zara Larsson, and "All Night" feat. Juice WRLD. The album also contains numbers such as "LaLaLa" sung by OKDAL and "You Are Here" sung by Lee Hyun.
Here's what netizens are saying about the OST album that's just "too good to be forgotten":
"'Dream Glow' is seriously too good for a game..."
"Even Jungkook was like, 'We have a song called 'Heartbeat??' TT."
"I've listened to 'Dream Glow', 'Heartbeat', 'A Brand New Day', and 'All Night' 100 times each."
"They seriously should have released those songs as an official album."
"The hidden gem of all BTS songs... Heartbeat TT."
"Can 'Heartbeat' please just go viral and hit #1 on the music charts..."
"'Heartbeat' really hits different."
"This album is one of the most important albums of my life."
"I don't understand either. These songs are too good to be forgotten."
"I wouldn't mind if they released them in an official album now."
"These songs NEED to be made relevant again."
What do you think of netizens' thoughts on 'BTS World: Original Soundtrack'?
