KBS2's upcoming new Mon-Tues drama series 'The King's Affection' (also known as 'Love' or '戀慕') has unveiled first filming still cuts of its male and female lead stars, SF9's Rowoon and Park Eun Bin!
Premiering next month on October 11, 'The King's Affection' tells the story of a child abandoned at birth due to the fact that she was born as the female of fraternal twins. However, when her twin brother, the crown prince of Joseon, meets an unexpected death, the child must take his place and act as the puppet prince of the palace.
Actress Park Eun Bin returns to the small-screen as the female lead Lee Hwi, the crown prince of Joseon. Opposite Park Eun Bin, Rowoon plays the role of Jung Ji Woon, the crown prince's tutor. Thanks to his born-genius brains, Jung Ji Woon passes the royal palace examination at an early age. But rather than showcasing model behavior as a studious scholar, he enjoys all kinds of merriments when nighttime comes.
As you can see in their first filming still cuts below, both Park Eun Bin and Rowoon have perfectly transformed into their given roles as the crown prince Lee Hwi, and the royal scholar, Jung Ji Woon. KBS2's 'The King's Affection', also starring Nam Yoon Su, VICTON's Byungchan, and more, premieres on October 11 at 9:30 PM KST!
I think this is the first time where I have actually seen a female lead actually be able to pass off as a male in the drama!! So excited to watch❤️
