BTS takes home three awards from the '2021 MTV Video Music Awards'

BTS took home three awards from the '2021 MTV Video Music Awards' ('2021 MTV VMA).

Previously in August, it was reported BTS was named as a nominee for five different award categories, including 'Song of the Year', 'Best Pop', 'Best K-Pop', 'Best Choreography', and 'Best Editing'. On September 12th, BTS took home the 'Group of the Year', 'Song of the Summer' (with "Butter"), and 'Best K-Pop' (with "Butter" as well) awards. The group has won both the 'Group of the Year' and 'Best K-Pop' awards for three consecutive years. 

BTS wasn't able to accept the award in person due to COVID-19 concerns, but they thanked MTV and ARMY for their awards through video messages.
