Gaon chart's official certification system has revealed the newly added albums and singles for the month of September!

An album can be certified by Gaon's system beginning 6-weeks after its physical release. The first certification level is 'platinum', which means an album has surpassed 250,000 copies in sales. The levels then increase by intervals including 'double platinum', 'triple platinum', 'million', etc. In the downloads and streaming categories, songs can be eligible for certification immediately after its release. 

For the month of September, these following albums have received Gaon certifications: BTS's "Butter" CD single has been certified double million, while ENHYPEN's 'Border: Day One' and BLACKPINK's 'Kill The Love' have both been certified double platinum. EXO member D.O.'s 1st mini album 'Empathy', NCT Dream's 'Hello Future' (Kit album), MONSTA X's 'The 2nd Album Take .1 - Are You There?', and Seventeen's 'Director's Cut' have all been newly certified platinum. 

Additionally, in the streaming category, Changmo's "Meteor" has been certified double platinum for surpassing 200,000,000 streams.
