Following the release of her 5th mini album 'Observe', singer Baek Ah Yeon sat down for an interview with one exclusive media outlet.
This is the first interview Baek Ah Yeon has attended since leaving JYP Entertainment. After leaving the agency she called home for many years, Baek Ah Yeon is now managed under Eden Entertainment. Baek Ah Yeon stated, "I think I spent a very busy time working on my album, being a permanent radio guest member, releasing OSTs, and doing YouTube activities. At the time of my first single album release at my new agency, I felt that I had a lot on my plate because it took time to adjust to a new environment. But now, I think I found a lot of leisure. As a result, I think I was able to have fun while working on the new album with my company members, while growing more feelings of responsiblity."
In particular, because Baek Ah Yeon was managed by JYP Entertainment for a long time, much attention was placed on whether she continued to contact J.Y. Park while working on her new album. Baek Ah Yeon said, "Because I became independent from Producer J.Y. Park, instead of continuing to get feedback from him I wanted to make this album using my own abilities. When my album gets released, I really want J.Y. Park to listen to it."
Meanwhile, Baek Ah Yeon will have her comeback stage on Mnet's 'M Countdown' for her new song "0%", in the upcoming live broadcast on September 9 KST. Then, she will hold a NAVER V Live session in order to share meaningful conversations with her fans.
Nothing new here. You can say whatever you want about JYP you can't deny that most of the artists who have terminated their contracts stay on good terms with him. Even if they parted ways , you can see that he isn't "resentful" and he's willing to give them the advice or even "approval" if they need it.
