Recently MelOn Music came out with a list detailing the top most 100 songs that have changed the way K-Pop is perceived. Known as the 'Top 100 Masterpieces', these songs were chosen based on popularity, concept, live performances, and cultural impact, as chosen by 35 music critics and producers.
BoA's 'No.1' was named #1 for a multitude of reasons, 'BoA debuted at the age of 13 and topped the Oricon Weekly Album Chart for the first time as a Korean singer, expanding the Korean Wave's trend centered on China to Japan, a larger pop-culture market'... 'The title of the song "No.1" is his ambition and spirit in line with BoA's position, which topped the Oricon Weekly Chart in Japan with her "Listen To My Heart" album.'... 'It is no exaggeration to say that BoA's growth is in line with K-pop's growth history'.
BoA's 'Atlantis Princess' was also listed at #93.

I was not familiar to the song so I listened to it in YT. I cannot get it out my head now. Its really a bop. No.1 at no.1. And sitting at the top of them all is a woman. Congrats, BOA!
